News of interest for Clyde Hill residents this week:
The last day to vote in the annual board of supervisor’s election is February 14th. More information available at https://kingcd.org/election.
Three meetings are planned next week. On Tuesday the 21st, a “special session” of the City Council (delayed from Valentine’s Day) will convene. Also, the Planning Commission will meet on Thursday the 23rd. The Budget Advisory Committee will meet on February 24th.
Clyde Hill Police Department’s drug disposal box is available again, providing a way to safely dispose of unwanted and expired medication. The disposal box is located just inside the Clyde Hill PD Lobby open M-F 830am-5pm.

City Recognized as a 2022 Tree City USA
The Administrator’s Weekly Report for last week (not yet available, should be posted soon) announced that
The City of Clyde Hill has been recognized as a 2022 Tree City USA! The Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree City USA program provides communities with a four-step framework to maintain and grow their tree cover. It also gives them an avenue to celebrate their work, showing residents, visitors, and the entire country that they’re committed to the mission of environmental change. The City of Clyde Hill has been recognized as a Tree City USA for thirty years.
