Medina, Bellevue PD assist Clyde Hill Police in resolving incident
Clyde Hill and Medina police issued an update just now about an incident at the 76 Station in Clyde Hill this morning:
At approx. 9:32 am on 05/31/2023, Clyde Hill Officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance at the Clyde Hill 76 Station, located in the 2700 block of 84th Ave NE, Clyde Hill. Responding officers were advised that a male was in the parking lot yelling and screaming, waving his hands around. While en route officers were also advised that the associated vehicle was stolen out of Des Moines.
Upon arrival, at approx. 9:33 am, officers initiated contact with the occupants of the vehicle. The occupants refused to follow orders and would not exit the vehicle. This lasted approx. one hour while waiting for assistance from Bellevue PD SWAT. During the standoff, the occupants were observed smoking an unknown substance, it also appeared the passenger was in and out of consciousness.
At approx. 10:27 am, the driver exited the vehicle surrendering to officers. Shortly after, the other two passengers surrendered.
All three individuals were transported to an area hospital for possible drug overdose and observation.
